Apologies to Celtic; Braga Knocks Out Sevilla!

A number of posts ago I condemned Celtic and Scottish football over the fact that little Sporting Braga from Portugal  had knocked “mighty” Celtic out of the Champions League in the last qualifying round.   To my surprise and delight Braga knocked Sevilla from La Liga in Spain out of the Champions League today.   This “little” Braga team are one of the stories to watch this year in European football.

It turns out Celtic are in some pretty respectable company after all, even if it is losing company.   Perhaps I should not have been so harsh to them.

I must say I still think Scottish football is in ruins and needs some radical change before it slips into total obscurity.
