I have always liked the current logo and branding and will be sorry to see it pass into history though from a business/marketing point of view I grudgingly acknowledge the need to create some separation in the mind of the consumer between the current second division image and the new first division MLS image being built. I hope some of the familir will be retained.

  2. I’m very worried that come June 8th we’ll be looking at some snazzy new logo and “brand” that is a significant departure from the ’79 strip. I hope they don’t make a mess of it! I’m imagining some Coors-inspired mountaintops or something similarly crazy. Can’t wait for the big TELUS emblazoned on the front of the shirt! Yikes! I’d be surprised if they abandoned the blue/white scheme, though. Check it out online with the unveiling:
