Congratulations Burnley!

With the huge gap in money and player resources between the big and little clubs in the English Premier League, it really is an unfair contest.  However, every now and then a bit of magic occurs, and David slays Goliath.  Burnley is just as small club. Burnley beat Manchester United 1-0 at home complete with a stunning goal and a fantastic penalty save.   It was Burnley’s first top flight win in more than 30 years.  I don’t think I have ever seen wider smiles on fan’s faces than those at Burnley the other night.   For the long term fan this must be like manna from heaven.   To be promoted to the Premiership was astonishing, but to beat Manchester United on your second game into the season?  Almost miraculous.  Thanks for making our hearts glad Burnley!
