West Ham 4 Blackburn Rovers 1

The scoreline certainly flatters to deceive.  One of the goals for West Ham was an own goal by Blackburn, and two were scored in extra time as Blackburn flooded forward looking for an equalizer. A better team than Blackburn would have had one and possibly more, because West Ham’s back line was very leaky indeed.  Were it not for Green in goal making several outstanding saves, including a penalty save, WHU might well have lost this game.    We will take the win, but frankly the whole thing looked a bit worrying.

It was great to see Bellamy come on and score a cracker.  If we could get him going injury free and get Dyer back, we will do some damage.

I am still not convinced with the quality of the team, however.  We need one more player who can play a leadership role with the squad.  We need a Roy Keane!
