It was not pretty, and the players did not look happy for most of the game, but it sure felt good to come away with a win.  Leave it to Jeff Clarke, surely the most valuable player of the Whitecaps through the years, to score the winner.  Sebrango finally came back and the team’s spirits were visually uplifted when he came on.  It is no surprise that the goal came mere minutes after he came on.   I noticed in the first half that the players did not look happy out there.  Their eyes were cast downwards, and they were not having fun.  Perhaps now they will relax a bit and remember to enjoy the game.  We are still potentially  a champion again!
